Why would anyone move from Florida to Canada, you ask? Quite simply, I met a guy who was just too irresistible. I wasn’t going to let a little snow and sub-zero winter temperatures scare me away from spending my life with Matt.

We get to help our clients every day use social media to further their own business objectives. This is exciting work to be part of. Meeting smart business owners from all over Ottawa and learning about what they do - I couldn’t have picked a better job to do.

Social Capital Conference

This past summer I served on the organization committee for Ottawa’s inaugural Social Capital Conference - the first of its kind in Canada’s capital city. From blog monetization, to writing, to social change through social media, social media strategy for business and more, we covered a broad range of topics.

Kids in the Capital

You will also find me blogging regularly at Kids in the Capital (Facebook) - a unique local community where parents come together to share their day-to-day activities in their homes and around the greater Ottawa area. KIC has various meetups (playdates) throughout the year as well.
